We’ve been banging on about the new XXRay Adventure Time release from Mighty Jaxx x Jason Freeny for some time now, with first details being teased back in January. This past week we’ve shown you the images of Finn, Jake and BMO as the release drew closer. Ever wanted to see whats inside Adventure Time “BMO”? Well, here you go! Jason Freeny works his magic and transcends his signature dissected style onto BMO. The prototype was shown at STGCC a couple of months back and surprised us as this BMO has real first electronics lighting up his heart. Following the cute BMO that gives light to your life (read HERE) Mighty Jaxx and Jason Freeny continue their adventure (time) with Cartoon Network adding one more character for the XXRAY plus series.

This time around things are about to get cold. Ice King, king of the Ice Kingdom appears with Gunter in dissected form ready to kidnap you with cuteness!

Jason Freeny and Mighty Jaxx returns with Ice King and his little penguin companion, Gunter. Standing at 8.5″ tall, catch the wizard villain, Ice King, and his adorably evil pet penguin, Gunter, as they go on malevolant misadventures together throughout the land of Ooo.
Being his sidekick, Gunter can either be held or placed next to Ice King.

After showcasing his brilliant work at ToyCon UK last weekend, PJ Constable has shared with us his latest completed commission,  an immaculately crafted set of Adventure Time themed customs and sculpts!

When discussing PJ’s work, I’m yet to find someone who is not screaming superlatives for the young UK artist and yet again he delivers.
This Adventure Time epic combines original sculpts and inventive modifications of pre-existing platforms: I bet you wouldn’t have guessed Marceline the Vampire Queen began life as a Micro Munny and the Ice King as a Dudebox Dude. Mathematical!

Not only has he captured the essence of Adventure Time to a tee, they have the unmistakable quirky and strong character driven style of PJ Constable– a winning combo!

Kidrobot announced last year that they were collaborating with Cartoon Network to bring us an Adventure Time series.

Today we can reveal the first batch of characters that will be set upon the world in 2015.

Launching during the upcoming Summer, this highly anticipated series will include key chains, a blind box series and Medium figures.

This is one of the new licences that The Toy Chronicle were most excited about and seeing the new images we can’t wait to see these in person. There will be news shortly on San Diego Comic Con exclusives, so keep your eyes glued to The Toy Chronicle for more deets. Who else is excited for this release?

ThreeA are really dipping into the licensed toy realm and giving them a fresh new look. The latest set to be released are the Bravest           Warriors The American animated web series created by Pendleton Ward, the creator of Adventure Time. ThreeA sets the date for pre-orders for two main characters Chris Kirkman and Beth.

It will be interesting seeing these in- hand. Seeing ThreeA producing figures without weathering is an eye opener but boy then they bring the game they do it right. Judging from the the photos the they look well made and clothing is spot on yet again. We will see how the seamless bodies do when posing and holding up a pose. Get ready for some Toy Photography.

Originally a Misterhope illustration, Chief Creations aka Ian Hancox hand sculptured a resin version and turned it into a 3D statue! With the help of UME Toys a few editions have been made especially for this weekends ToyCon UK 2018. Personally, it was the slant eyes that resembles me, HA or it could’ve been the beard that reminds me of Ian (strokable goodness) that caught our attention of OldMan Finn (joking). On a serious note, check out Ian’s WIP photos via Instagram, made the sculpture even better seeing the whole process.
